Mrs. Shadie Sloan Burroughs, 78, of Arkadelphia, widow of Max Burroughs, died Wednesday.
Mrs. Burroughs was a Methodist.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gloria Billings of Torrance, California; six sisters, Mrs. Georgia Webb of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Oleta Broyles of Cumby, Texas, Mrs. Esther Colse of Kilgore, Texas, and Mrs. Gertrude Hood, Mrs. Lottie Adams and Mrs. Jodie Denton, all of Sulfur Springs, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bismarck United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Bismarck Cemetery by Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home.
