William married Cathrine Clegg 29 Mar 1862. After she passed away he married Alice Chippendale who was previouly married to James Duckworth. Alice had four children when she divorced James in England. She came to American 3 Nov 1880 and on to Salt Lake. William and Alice were married 24 Mar 1881 and had three children together.
