WANETTA MARGENE KENT--91: former Conn-eaut resident; passed away Sunday [3-01] at Covenant Hospice-Pensacola FL, after a brief illness. She was born 23 Mar 1917 in Conn-eaut, a dau of MorrowV & Kate (Dart) Bates. MrsKent was a 1935 graduate of Conneaut HighSchool & had been employed at Tyler Gas &Oil, Conneaut Creamery, Ashtabula Gas &Oil, & NEO Bank. She was a member of the East Conneaut United MethodistChurch & a member of Myrtle Grove Senior Citizens Cntr-Pensacola FL.
Survivors include her son: Robert (sp-Judith) Kent-Cantonment FL; her grandchildren [all named] & 4 gr-grandchildren [all named]. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband-I Stanley Kent-3 Feb 2001, whom she married 2 Jul 1938; an infant son-Philip, at birth; & a brother: Gordon Bates.
Service will be Saturday afternoon [3-07] at the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center-Conneaut. Pastor Paula Marbury-E.Conneaut United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to Covenant Hospice-Pensacola FL.
