∼ROBERT GRAVES BARLOW, son of Robert Jesse Barlow and Sarah Graves, was born 02 September 1842 in Williamsburg James Co Virginia, and died in December 1917 in Richmond, Independent City Virginia, burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg, Virginia.
He married MARY A. 'MOLLY' WEST. She was born 03 September 1846, James City, VA, and died 10 May 1913 at Amelia Court House, burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg, Virginia. She had previously been married to MR. CRANDALL
Robert G. Barlow, was born September 2, 1842, at Williamsburg, and spent practically all his life in Williamsburg, though he died at Richmond in December 1917. He was also a carpenter and builder, was an old line Democrat, at one time acted as supervisor of the State Asylum at Williamsburg, and his record as a Confederate soldier covered four years from Manassas to Appomattox*. He married Mrs. Mary (West) Crandall, who was born at James City, September 3, 1846, and died at Amelia Court House May 10, 1913. Their children were: Charles West, a Government employee at Dahlgreen, Virginia who married Ella Elizabeth Bloxton; Carrie M., wife of Edward M. Lee, assistant postmaster of Williamsburg; Robert Jesse II; and Mary E., wife of William M. Crooks, a real estate man at Jacksonville, Florida.
