On July 6, 1957, in Muskegon, he married the former Treeva Quinn and had worked at Sealed Power Corp. until retiring. He had attended Faith Baptist Church.

Mr. Bacon was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

His wife, Treeva; 3 sons, Alan Bacon of Muskegon, Jeffrey (Judy) Bacon of Rothbury and Robert Bacon of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Monica (Jeffrey) Lacy of Muskegon; a step-daughter, Terry Harris of Lansing; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Elaine Dailey, Joyce (Glen) Rice and Mary (James) Dennison, all of Muskegon

SERVICE: Tuesday, September 7, 1999, at 1 PM, from Clock Chapel-Whitehall with the Rev. Bruce A. Beach officiating. Interment will be made in Fruitland Township Cemetery.

VISITING HOURS: Tuesday, 12 PM Noon until service time, at the funeral home in Whitehall.

MEMORIAL: Building Fund of Faith Baptist Church, 3590 Ross Rd., North Muskegon, 49445.
