Anderson - Johnie M. ''Bill'' Carmack, 81, Anderson, died March 20, 2004 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born April 14, 1922 in Timothy, Tennessee, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area for 50 years. He worked for Mitchel Motors in Lapl and was the owner of Carmack Auto Body Shop in Anderson. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of East Side House of Prayer and the UFW #662. He is survived by his wife: Vivian Franklin Carmack. Nine Children: David & wife Debbie Carmack of Hanging Limb, Tennessee. Jimmie & wife Gladys Carmack of Cookeville, Tennessee. Debbie & husband Roger Rigdon of Anderson. Vicky & husband Danny Wilson of Anderson. Rickie & wife Angie Carmack of Anderson. Bart Carmack of Anderson. Bret Carmack of Anderson. Michael Carmack & Monica Cage of Anderson. Bernard Carmack of Anderson. Two Sisters: Delta Norris of Anderson. Lela Sullivan of Springfield, Illinois. Sister-in-law: Joyce Wiles. Twenty Two Grandchildren: Carman, David Jr., Deborah, Rodney, Jason, Jesse, Jimmy, Dorinda, Terry, Lilly, Corey, Anthony, Travis, Halie, Mila, Nicholas, Nicole, Mitch, Brandon, Shellet, Kylie and Davida. Fifteen Great Grandchidren. Several Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded by his Parents: Jessie & Mary Danner Carmack. Son: Carman K. Hicks. Daughter: Shellet Carmack. Services will be Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 1:00 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Rev. Paul Savage officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be from 11-1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at funeral home, south chapel.
