Mrs, Nova Todd, 54, Death Victim - Obituary
Mrs. Nova Todd, of the Fourth District of this county (Cannon), wife of Levi Todd, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital Friday Morning, April 17, at the age of 54 years after only about one week's illness.
She was before her marriage, Miss Nova Cooper, daughter of the late Isaiah Cooper, of this county. She was a woman highly esteemed and loved by all who knew her and a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Methodist Church and had been for a number of years.
She was married to Levi (Newton) Todd 33 years ago and to the union were born nine children, all of whom, with her husband, Levi, survive her, five daughters, Mrs. Florence Gordon, Miss Edna Todd, of this county, Mrs. Corbia Davenport, Mrs. Una Northcutt, of Warren County, Mrs. Pauline Harris, of Davidson County, four sons, James and Horace Todd, of Illinois, Dan and Carl Todd, of this county, eight grandchildren, three brothers, Jim Cooper, of Murfreesboro, Billy Cooper, Oklahoma, and Otis Cooper, of Nashville, one sister, Mrs. Bertha Rigney of Oklahoma. Funeral services Sunday Morning, April 19, at 11 o'clock at Thyatira Church conducted by Rev. Will Stacey. Interment in Thyatira Cemetery with McMillen & Co. funeral directors in charge.
