JOHN EVERHART DIES THIS A.M. - Former Monroe Man Is Victim Of Stroke At County Infirmary
John William Everhart, 74, passed away at the Adams county infirmary at 4:00 o'clock this morning from a paralytic stroke.
The decedent was born in this county August 27, 1865, the son of Joseph Everhart. He was married twice, his first wife have preceded. His second wife lives in Decatur.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. William Neadstine of Monroe rural route, Carey Brandyberry of Colon, Mich., Robert Everhart of Monroe and Carl of Anderson. One brother, Perry lives at Hoagland.
Mr. Everhart, many years ago was a well known huckster wagon driver in the Monroe vicinity but was an inmate of the infirmary for quite a number of years.
The body will be at the Lobenstein funeral home until time for the funeral which has been set for Sunday 2:00 p.m., C. S. T. at the Methodist church. The Rev. R. F. Hart will officiate.
Burial will be in the Beery cemetery west of Decatur.

John William Everhart, 74, native of Adams County, died this morning at the County Infirmary.
Surviving are the widow; one son, Robert Everhart of Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. William Neadstein of this city, Mrs. Carrie Brandyberry of Colon, Mich., and Mrs. Carl Loose of Anderson and one brother, Perry Everhart of Hoagland.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 pm (CDT) at the Monroe Methodist Church with burial in Antioch Cemetery.
