Mrs. Mildred Phelps Stone was the wife of William Stone and mother to Nancy "Nannie" Stone. Mrs. Mildred Stone perished in the antebellum era, leaving her husband a widower and her daughter, Nancy "Nanny" Stone, motherless. Nannie later died of tuberculosis in 1863 and was buried beside her mother. Sadly, Mrs. Stone's grave was vandalized in April, 2010, along with her daughters and nieces' shared stone.
