Earl Myers died at his home in Jasper Township last Friday of tuberculosis of the stomach. He was 20 years of age, having been born in Adams County, November 9, 1883. He was the eldest son of Wm. Myers and was a good boy who will be greatly missed in the home. The funeral was conducted Monday from the home by his pastor Rev. J. J. Ruppert, assisted by elders Rowley and Maine. Interment was made in the cemetery at Brooks. In addition to the father and mother, deceased leaves six brothers and sisters, who with many friends, mourn his death. They do not mourn as those who have no hope, for he was a consistent Christian, being a member of the Adventist Church.
