Funeral services for Agnes Smith, 82, Groesbeck, were held at 10 a.m. Dec. 30 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Smith was bom Dec. 26, 1917, in Limestone County to the late Lee and Jewel (Newman) Alexander, and died Dec. 29,1999, in Groesbeck.
She was a homemaker and active member of the Southside Baptist Church in Olney for many years. She was an LVN at the Olney Hamilton Hospital for several years until her retirement.
Mrs, Smith was preceded in death by her husband; Ervin Smith, April 12,1970, and sister, Irene Moore.
Survivors are three sisters, Ida Bell Hastings and Mildred Castleberry, both of Groesbeck, and Adelle Bacon, Temple.
