Mrs. John W. Hammond CENTREVILLE, Md. Services will be this afternoon at 2 in Barton Brothers Funeral Chapel for Mary Ellen Hammond, 74, life long Queen Anne's County resident. She died Tuesday near Queenstown at the home of one of her sons Morris. She was the widow of John Wesley Hammond. Besides Morris, she is survived by two other sons, Fisher, Centreville and William, Grasonville; seven daughters, Mrs. Beulah Blunt, Ridgely, Mrs. Grace Smith, Chester, Miss Ruth Hammond, Queenstown, Mrs. Lindy Thomas, Church Hill, Mrs. Becky Thomas, Centreville, Mrs. Lillian Miller, Salisbury and Mrs. Jean Starkey, King George, Va.; two brothers, Robert Abrams, Albany, N.Y., and Earle Abrams, Trenton, N.J.; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Zimmer, and Mrs. Mildred Houghton, both of Trenton, and Mrs. Hattie Smith, Chester; 34 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
