SMITH - Services for Mrs. Grace R. Smith, of Chester will be held today (Wednesday) at the Lane Funeral Home of Kent Island. The Rev Norman Ponder of Lynch Heights Baptist Church, Milford, DE. will officiate at the ceremony. Mrs. Smith died enroute to Memorial Hospital, Easton, early Sunday morning, October 28. She was 54 Surviving are her husband, Warren A. Smith, at home; a daughter Mrs. Carolyn Dyes, of Chester, a son, Keith Smith at home, three brothers, Morris E. Hammond of Queenstown, J. Fisher Hammond of Centerville and William H. Hammond of Grasonville; six sisters, Mrs. Beulah Blunt of Ridgely, MD, Ruth Hammond of Queenstown, Mrs. Lillian Miller of Salisbury, Mrs Lindy Thomas of Seaford, DE, Mrs, Doris Thomas of Chester and Mrs. Jean Starkey of King George, VA and one grandson Burial will be in Stevensville Cemetery. Pallbearers were William O'Donnell, Samuel Miller, Robert Lee, Earl Smith, Philip Smith and Russell Smith.
