Tillie Black, 97, Heritage House Nursing Home, Greensburg, died Thursday, August 20, 1992 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg. She was born in Harris City, Ind., July 14, 1895, the daughter of Nelson and Elizabeth Knarr Zetterberg. In her early years she taught in a one-room school house. Later, she owned and operated an Antique Shop in Letts for 30 years. She resided some 60 years near the residence of her son and his wife, Sheldon and Jessie Black. She was a member of and a Sunday school teacher at the Mt. Aerie Baptist Church. She was married to Clarence Black, and he preceded her in death. Her son, Sheldon Black, died August 27, 1987. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sheldon (Jessie) Black, R.R. 5, Greensburg; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two nieces. She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by four brothers, Clifford, William, Edward and Oscar Zetterberg; and by four sisters, Effie and Orpha Zetterberg, Mrs. William (Ella) Vanderbur and Mrs. Samuel (Lottie) Gentry. Arrangements were handled by the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg with graveside services in the Mt. Aerie Cemetery at Letts.
