Born May 14, 1945 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Gilbert Earl and Elizabeth May Godsey Waldon.
She worked for RCA, Keller's and Sunbeam, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed Bingo, Fishing, Gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her companion Donald Weaver; two sons, Scott McGee and Donald Weaver, Jr., both of Linton; five daughters, Lisa Silvers, Lana (Bruce) Conder, both of Bloomington; Lori (CJ) Davis of Ellettsville; Ann (James) Mesaach of Terre Haute; Donna (Bryan) Wagner of Lafayette; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry, Gary, Larry and Mike Waldon all of Bloomington; four sisters, Joyce Pryor of Bloomington, Judy Chatten of Ellettsville, Jackie Rupp of Nokesville, VA and a twin sister Jane Morrison of Westphalia.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton on Monday, June 7 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tommy Shields officiating.
Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
