Apparently, some Find-A-Grave memorial managers require documentation be sent to them before accepting updates, additions or corrections to the memorials they manage. The current guidelines suggest sending supportive documentation to the memorial manager, if the suggested edits (updates/additions or corrections) aren't accepted through the "Edit" options on the given memorial.

The only time I'd require documentation for memorial edits suggested through the "Edit" feature are for my own family or others I've researched, extensively. These situations are limited.

Also, I DO NOT add contributors' names and associated Find-A-Grave contributor numbers to the memorial for the information sent, unless this information is, specifically, requested to be included. One of Find-A-Grave's Administrators has said contributors/members should NOT be called out (identified) on memorials when submitting updates, corrections, or additions.

The soldiers included in the Virtual Cemeteries have been identified as having served in the Civil War through various sources (pension records, gravestone inscriptions, historical organizations, etc.). Please check it out! If you know about a Civil War soldier buried in Greene County, Indiana (Union or Confederate) but don't see the soldier listed, please let me know. I do need to verify service in some way, however, so please keep that in mind.

I have access to some older military records and will be glad to verify the service of any names and burials sent to me using these resources. I'll, also, share the verification information or records for submissions when found and requested.
