Rev. Donald McIntosh, age 77, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 10, 2016. He was born March 6, 1939 in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of the late Horace P. McIntosh and the late Carolyn Wynn McIntosh. He was retired from Thomason Printing after 47 years of service and was Minister of the Gospel for over 50 years. He was a member of Bethel Campground Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Annette Collins McIntosh; daughter, Tammy Jill McIntosh; sister, Helen Marlow; and a granddaughter, Emily Brooke McIntosh. Survivors include his son, James Tracy McIntosh of Carrollton; seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Sunday, March 13, 2016 from Bethel Campground Church with Rev. Jeff Shelton and Rev. Joseph Bonner officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM on Sunday. Those serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Collins, Jeff Marlow, Marcus Muse, Butch Cammons, Derrick Collins, and Tracy Yarborough. In keeping with his wishes, the body will be cremated following the service.
