Hilda Harder, 91, of Buckeye, Arizona, passed away on May 27, 2010.

She was born to the late Cleve and Mildred Zimmerman, September 25, 1918, in Sioux County, Nebraska. Hilda graduated from Sioux County High School in 1936. She married the late L.K. "Boots" Harder in 1937. They moved many, many times while working in the oil fields before moving to Buckeye in 1952.

Hilda was a long time member of the Community Church of Buckeye and the Buckeye Woman's Club. She more recently became a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved to play bridge, travel, and took many cruises and motor home trips with her family and friends. Her family and friends were her greatest loves.

Hilda is survived by two daughters, Darlene (Franklin) Carlson, of Scottsdale and Jo Phillips, of Mesa; one son, Bill (Carolyn) Harder, of Mesa; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Keith (Olita) Zimmerman, of Harrison, Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Community Church of Buckeye or Hospice of the Valley.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 4 at the Community Church of Buckeye, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Lunch will follow immediately after the service in Fellowship Hall. Burial will be at the Bodarc Cemetery, Sioux County, Nebraska.
