LUCINDA "CINDY" EMALINE HERRON WAS THE DAUGHTER OF HENRY JEFFERSON AND SARAH ADALINE WRIGHT HERRON.

SHE MARRIED PERRY ANDERSON 31 JAN 1899 IN SCOTT COUNTY, VIRGINIA. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: JOHN HENRY, KYLE ERNEST, GARNETT W, NANNIE BELLE, IDA EMALINE, BESSIE LOVE, HUGH EDGAR, GEORGE PERRY, BERT, WININTHER, ALBERTA AND SARAH ELIZABETH ANDERSON.

THE SIBLINGS OF LUCINDA EMALINE HERRON ANDERSON WERE MOSES ANDREW, JOHN D, JAMES HARVEY, SUSAN JANE, MARY ELIZABETH, GEORGE JACKSON, RHODIA ANN, IDA BELLE, ELIZA ELLEN, MILTON REECER, ELISHA ABRAHAM AND MATILDA KATE HERRON.

Mrs. Lucinda Anderson, 80, Route 3, Gate City (Stanley Valley Community), died at 5:39 p.m. Sunday [20 JAN 1963] at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital in Erwin.

She was born in Hawkins County, and she lived most of her life in the Stanley Valley Community. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Byrd, Telford; two sons: Hugh (Jack) Anderson and George P. Anderson, both of Gate City; one step-daughter, Mrs. J. H. Milhorn, Jonesborough; one step-son, G. W. Anderson, Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sisters: Mrs. Roy Bruner, Indian Springs, and Mrs. Mary McDavid, Surgoinsville; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday [22 JAN 1963] at Cameron Methodist Church in Stanley Valley with the Rev. Ogleva Street, Rev. Thurman Luttrell and the Rev. Robert Clark officiating.

Burial will be in Bussell Cemetery in Hawkins County.

The body will remain at Carter-Clamon Funeral Home until time for services.
