He worked for Groves Drug Store, Beloit, and was a pharmacist for the Russell Drug Store, Russell. After moving to Salina he worked for Linck Drug Store and later became co-owner of Gro-Morr Pharmacy, Salina. He later worked for Key Rexall Pharmacy, Salina, retiring in 1995.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and American Association of Retired Persons, and a life member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 718, Salina. He was also a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne of the home; two sons, John E. of Hutchinson and Daniel of Salina; a brother, Richard of Fairfax, Va.; four sisters, Betty Biddinger of Littleton, Colo., Marilyn Greif and Dora Lee Williams,
both of Beloit, and Ethel Johnson of Garden City; six grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
