Anna Jax, age 83 of Adams, Minn. died Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Austin Medical Center.
Anna was born on June 29, 1926 in rural Adams to Joseph and Theresa (Koenigs) Schneider. She married Joseph Jax on September 13, 1947 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Johnsburg, Minn. In her spare time Anna, enjoyed doing puzzles and playing cards. Anna was a member of the CCW of St. Johns Catholic Church.
Anna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Theresa and Tony Hurlburt, Lone Rock, Iowa; granddaughter: Allison Hurlburt; brothers and sisters-in-law: William (Margaret) Schneider, Adams, Minn.; Joseph (Audrey) Schneider, Adams, Minn.; sister: Angela Winkles, Rochester, Min.; brother-in-law: Marvin Simon, Waterloo, Iowa; sister-in-law: Martha Schneider, Adams, Minn.; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Jax, Sisters and brothers-in-law: Mildred Simon, Elizabeth and Gilbert Fasbender, Sylvan Winkels, brothers and sister-in-law: Paul and Dorothy Schneider, and Leo Schneider.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Johns Catholic Church, Johnsburg with Father Ruben Spinler officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Adams Funeral Home on Tuesday June 1, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. and for one hour before the service at the church.
