OBITUARY-
Paul Thomas Schneider, 79, of Adams, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Adams Health Care Center.
He was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Adams, to Joseph and Theresa (Koenigs) Schneider. He attended school in Johnsburg.
On Oct. 17, 1951, he married Dorothy Ann Fasbender in Adams. They lived in the Adams area, where Paul farmed until retiring and moving into Adams.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Catholic Aid.
He was an avid baseball fan, fisherman and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and John Kiser, Sargeant; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Schneider, Austin; Mike and Diane Schneider, Adams; John and Miriam Schneider, Adams; Ronald and Louise Schneider, McIntire, Iowa; Gary and Linda Schneider, Osage, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, William and Margaret Schneider, Adams; Leo and Martha Schneider, Adams; Elizabeth and Gilbert Fasbender, Adams; Anna Jax, Adams; Angela and Sylvan Winkels, Rochester; Joseph and Audrey Schneider, Taopi; Mildred and Marvin Simon, Waterloo, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 1993.
Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004, with a 4 p.m. Rosary and a 7 p.m. prayer service and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father James Seitz officiating. Casket bearers will be Miranda Schneider, Alison Schneider, Travis Schneider, Stephanie Clement, Tim Schneider, Curt Schneider, Jessica Schneider and Emily Kiser.
Interment: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Adams.
