Clara Hocutt Weems
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Hocutt Weems, 78, of Millington, Tennessee, formerly of Lexington were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Rev. Maston Prewitt officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery.
Mrs. Weems died of heart failure, Wednesday, January 20 at County Nursing Home in -where she had been a resident the past three years.
A native of Holmes County made her home in the Hebron community most of her life. She was a retired nurse’s aide and a member of Hebron Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Wallace of Millington, Tennessee; five brothers, Alfred Hocutt, Claude Hocutt, Murry Hocutt, James H. Hocutt, all of Jackson, and Albert Hocutt of West; three sisters, Bernice Wilson of Florence, Annie Jewell Butler of Pearl and Juanita Morgan of Phoenix, Arizona; - grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Serving as active pallbearers, Mike Hocutt, Don Hocutt, - Johnson, Frankie Weems, - and Billy Weems.
