Nellie was the daughter of Peter Coble and Sarah Sally Bennett.

She married William Farmer, Sr. on 7-28-1841. She had a son in 1834 and named him William Farmer, Jr

Married to Richard Bishop on April 8, 1847.

Children: Margaret (1848), Elizabeth (1849), Sarah E. (1849), David Alfred (1850), George H. (1852), Mary Polly (1854, William Mabin (1856), Martha V. (1860) and Abraham Duncan (1861)
