Obituary:
"Ira Finch, Esq, one of the prominent and influential men of the town of Windham, Pa. died Wednesday morning January 25, at his home at Windham aged 66 years. He was for several years a justice of the peace. He was master of Westbrook lodge F. and A. M. of Nichols, two years in 1884 and 1885. At his funeral Friday the Masons officiated at the grave in Nichols Cemetery.
He was a brother of Mrs. David B. Thomas of Hooper's Valley, Hon. Parley Finch, of Humboldt Iowa and John Finch of North Orwell, Pa. Served as Justice of the Peace, election commissioner and on the Board of Elections. He raised Jerseys, Alderneys and Shorthorns along with Southdown sheep and thoroughbred horses"
