John Lance Georgell, 85, passed away on May 29, 2010 in the CareSource Hospice Center.

Born August 2, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Victor and Clara Melissa Lance Billings.

Married to Lucile Veenendaal on November 1, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active in the LDS Church. Retired from Beehive Clothing.

Survived by wife; two daughters, Diane (Mike) Peterson, Elaine (Keith) Pickett; two sons, Mark (Sharon), Gary (Nancy); eighteen grandchildren; and forty-five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two great-grandsons; sister, Georgia; seven half brothers; and five half sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Parliament Park Ward Chapel, 3935 South 1500 West, and viewing at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Burial at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
