Funeral services for Clara M. Rollins, 77, of Oxford will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Starling and Dr. Gary Ragsdale will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friend this evening from 5 till 7 at the funeral home.

Heaven gained another angel Saturday evening when the Lord called Mrs. Clara Rollins home.

Survivors include her son; her daughter; her sister, Pauline Snider; her brother, Ellis Gidley; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rollins was preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar "Red" Rollins; father, Lee Gidley; mother, Lois Gidley; brother, W. L. Gidley and a sister, Joyce Gidley.

Mrs. Rollins was retired from Oxford City School System. She was a life long member of Lakeview Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Clara, as she was called by most who knew her, was a kind and loving woman. She was known as the woman of great faith who always had a sweet smile on her face. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Oxford EMS, Shelley Ray and Pastors Jerry Starling and Jeff Duncan for the care that they gave and the compassion that they showed in Mrs. Clara's final hours.

Pallbearers will be Trey Arnold, Trent Arnold, Jeremy McKenzie, Joey Rollins, Donny Wood and Kenny Bobo.
