"Harold F. Beck Takes Own Life"
" Harold F. Beck, 47, Paradise R1, died at his home at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Cause of death was verified by Dr. George Beacher, Gap, deputy coroner.
Beck was the husband of Catherine B. Hagen Beck, and was born in Lititz, a son of Mrs. Ruth Fehr Beck Binkley and the late Elias Beck.
TRUCK DRIVER He lived at his present address three years, and formerly was a resident of Quarryville. Beck was employed the past 12 years by Motor Freight Express, Lancaster, as a truck driver.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son, Harold L. Beck, stationed at Gulfport, Miss., with the U.S. Navy, and these four sisters and five brothers; Helen, wife of William Preperato, and Mrs. Alice Ecenrode, both of Lancaster; Minnie, wife of Marvin Caldwell, Rockford, Ill.; Frances, wife of Richard Beatty, Bristol, Pa.; twin brother Henry F., Marietta; James E. Sinking Springs; Ammon E. Lancaster; Benjamin, Philadelphia, and Joseph E. , Tullytown, Pa."
