Gone to a higher life, Mr. John Bruner, familiarly called Uncle John. He was stricken down with paralysis on Saturday, the 29th inst, and remained helpless and unconscious until Tuesday morning, when his spirit took its flight to a home in that better land. He was born in Kentucky in the year 1805, and was married to Miss Susanah Frans in the year 1826, moving to Illinois in an early day, first settling in Knox county, from there to Warren county, and remaining there up to his death.
