Jack L. Thomas, 81, Rt. 5, Logansport, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in his residence.
Born August 8,1908, in Romney, Indiana he was the son of Flone D. and Lola Martin Thomas. On October 8, 1945, in St. Charles, Mo., he was married to Laura M. Weakman, who survives.
He was a farmer.
Also surviving are three stepdaughters, Mary Helen Talbert, Onarga, Ill., Ruby F. Meyer, , Carlinville, Ill; and Virginia P. Wilson, Flora, Indiana; one brother, William, Oxford, Indiana; two sisters, Clarice Dowell and Clora Eagle Ebert, both of Onarga, Ill.; eight stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat grandchildren.
Three sisters and one brother preceded in death.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home, with the Reverend Dan Butcher officiating. Burial will be in Burlington, Indiana Cemetery.
