He leaves besides his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Daisy Watt of Decatur and Mrs. Minnie Lazell of Maroa and three sons, S.C. and Frank Gray of Decatur and W.N., Gray of Lane, Ill.
He enlisted in the 26th Ohio regiment shortly after the outbreak of the Civil war, and served until the close.
His wife is in a serious condition and probably will not live. The news is being kept from her to avoid the shock.
