Retired Farmer Dies Early Today

Josiah S. Loudermilk, 81 years of age. And a native farmer of Sullivan County passed away at the home of his son Perry Loudermilk R.R.2 four miles west of Sullivan, today at 1:00 AM. He was a member of the New Liberty Church of Christ. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Simmons, Sullivan; two sons, Walter of Albany, N.Y. and Perry of Sullivan.R.R.2; seven grand-children, one sister, Mrs. Belle Whitman, Sullivan, R.R.2, and one brother William of Arkansas. The body will be in state at the Billman Funeral Home and services will be conducted at the Chapel Sunday afternoon at 1:30. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.

Last rites honoring Josiah S. Loudermilk, widely known farmer of this county, were conducted from the Chapel of the Billman Funeral Home at 1:30 P.M. Sunday, with Lloyd Boyll officiating.
Pallbearers were Robert Loudermilk, George Loudermilk, Eljhu Huff, John Loudermilk, Ernest Reynolds and Tom Simmons. Burial was at Center Ridge Cemetery.
