Heather was only 18-years old at the time of her death. Heather graduated Barberton High School in June 1999. She was attending Youngstown State University, majoring in music education, at the time of her death. She always said that she "wanted to make a differance in the lives of young musicians". I read the letter to her that is inscribed in the back of her headstone.
The inscription is as follows...
Heather,
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom.
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same.
You have forever changed our lives, we will carry you in our hearts for all time. When we think of you, we will laugh, we will cry and we will keep the memory of you alive.

We Love You,
Papa, Lolo, Sum & Mom
God Bless Our Heather.

NOTE > Not long after I posted this page, I got an e-mail from Heather's family saying that they were glad she was listed on Find A Grave. These are really nice people. I felt so bad about Heather's passing after I talked to them. These things should never happen to good people but, sadly, they do.
