David A. Lovelady was the loving son of W.H. and Anna F. Lovelady. He was the caring brother of Henry, Albert, Glenda, Edgar, Wanda, Margene, Daniel and T.J. He loved his children, family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. provided care for his elderly Mother and enjoyed researching family history. He worked in the oil fields and was a talented masonry As a young man he participated in the Oklahoma City Boxing Club affiliated with the Golden Glovers and won many lightweight boxing matches. He was one of 25 youth reporting to coach Marvin Liddell of Oklahoma City and was honored at his funeral by his fellow boxers. His photo as a boxer is part of the Oklahoma Publishing Company Photography Collection provided by the Historical Society shared in The Gateway to Oklahoma , a digital repository hosted by the UNT Libraries.
