William H. Lovelady was born June 4, 1884, to John Dyer and Martha E. (McCollister) Lovelady in Kansas. Later moving to Oklahoma as a child. He married Anna F. Walker on Nov. 9, 1913 in Cleveland County, Oklahoma and together they raised 9 wonderful children.

Often referred to as Big Henry, he was short of height, but big in stature. A man of honorable integrity, faith, values and wisdom. He had a strong work ethic and was a retired wholesale kerosene and oil dealer starting with Texaco Oil then in 1918 began his mobile business delivering products by horse drawn wagon serving the local community and surrounding areas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Years later he retired his horses and began using motorized trucks.

He was a friendly, highly respected man in the community and was loved by his family, friends and business associates. He had a generous heart and helped many during difficult times.

He was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor, loved to tell adventurous stories, sing and tease his grandchildren.

His loving memory and caring example will always be cherished by all who knew him.
