KALIDA - Requiem High Mass for John C. Siebeneck, 78, retired farmer and merchant, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael's Catholic Church here.

The Rev. Erasmus Gengler, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Siebeneck died Tuesday evening in a Carson City, Mich., hospital after an illness of several weeks. He had made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hoffman, Route 3, Shepherd, Mich., the last two years.

Born in Glandorf Oct. 5, 1876, he formerly owned a grocery store near here, and later had been engaged in farming. His wife, the former Theresa Kerner, whom he married in 1905, died in 1916.

Survivors include, in addition to Mrs. Hoffman, a son, Edward, Fort Jennings; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Frank, Charles and August, all of here; Anthony, Ottawa, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Drummelsmith, Miller City.

The body will remain in the Kolkmeyer Funeral Home, Delphos, where friends may call.
