One by one the pioneers are passing away. Mrs. Harriet Hays died March 18th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Shriver, at Diamond, Pa., and was buried in the cemetery here on the 20th inst. She was 77 years of age, being born in Bradleytown in 1825. In 1846 she with her husband, Samuel Hays, who recently passed away, came to this place, where they have resided ever since.
