Funeral services were held Monday morning at the First Christian Church for Mrs. Nancy Mava Anderson with Rev. Paul Hancock officiating.
Mrs. Anderson, 74, died Saturday afternoon in a Wichita Falls hospital. She had been a resident of Clarendon 54 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star here.
Mrs. Anderson will be remembered here for her faithful work in her church and also as supervisor of meals for the Clarendon Lions Club.
Survivors include her husband, G.A. Anderson; three brothers, W.T. Whisnand of Wilmer, John Whisnand of Lancaster and Bert Whisnand of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Leland Green of Lancaster.
Pallbearers were Richard Finch, Carroll Knorpp, J.B. Melton, Otto Elliott, Pete Kunz and Frank White, Jr.
Burial was in Citizens Cemetery with the Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
