BEALS ISLAND - Debrah Almeda (Seavey) Crowley, 77, passed away May 14, 2010, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born June 7, 1932, on Beals Island, one of 10 children to Heman and Rhodella (Faulkingham) Seavey. She enjoyed crocheting and making afghans, and especially loved being with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Vertland; three sons, Millard and wife, Betty, Vinal and wife, Nancy, and Lyman and wife, Linda, all of Beals Island; one sister, Annie Davis and her husband, Lennie, of Addison; six grandchildren, Jason and wife, Karen, Shelley and husband, Arlin Jr., Crystal and husband, Leslie, Vinal Jr., Aura and Cody; six great-grandchildren, Kristin, Alexis, Dezira, Arlin III, Zachary and Shelby; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Great Wass Cemetery, Beals Island. (Bangor Daily News 5/15/2010)
