Mrs. Collier was born Nov. 27, 1920, in Marlow, Okla., and was raised in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was a Sonoma Valley resident since 1951. She was a cook manager for the Sonoma Valley Unified School District until her retirement. She also worked for the Sonoma Golf and Country Club, Fiesta Rexall Pharmacy, Simmons Pharmacy and various retail stores on the Plaza. She was a past president of the Sonoma Mission Lions Club and a member of the Craig Avenue Baptist Church.
Mrs. Collier is survived by two daughters, Shirley Blazevich (Jerry) and Sue Muller (Eric); and her only grandchild, LaTisha Blazevich Chiurco (Steve). She was preceded in death by three children, Sabra Collier in 1964, Jessie Leon Collier in 1996, and Jerry Lee Collier as an infant.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at the Craig Avenue Baptist Church, 18621 Railroad Avenue in Sonoma. Internment at Mountain Cemetery in Sonoma.
