Grandma Eagon died at her daughters Mrs. T.L. Dibble's last Friday in the 89th year of age. Deceased leaves three daughters living. Her remains were buried in the Rock Creek cemetery on Saturday, Rev. Quinn officiating.

Miriam was married the 1st time to John Long perhaps in Indiana. He died in Clackamas County in 1869.
After the death of John, Miriam married Joseph Eagon in Clackamas County, Oregon in 1883.
