Enos A.Wright was born in Preble Co. Ohio to Enoch Wright & Susannah "Abshire" Wright.After the passing of Susannah Wright, In 1852 Enos A. Wright,Along with His widowed father Enoch,his brothers Claiborn C. Wright, Clemens Wright and Enos's only son Jacob Wales Wright came to California to seek their fame & fortune, and yes they all did quite well in both the gold fields and land & ranching.Enos's wife (Abigale "Arnold" Wright had passed away before 1850 in Indiana). In early March 1874 Enos was thrown from his horse and was fatally injured with a skull fracture from the fall. In his will & probate papers it is described the building of Enos's burial vault in a local Visalia Cemetery. In 1980 while probing the plots around Enos's grandson's grave the grounds keeper at the cemetery located an unmarked grave with the materials used that was described in the probate papers, along with the fact that enough plots for Enos A. Wright and all of his son Jacob's family (6 in all) it is only logically that this is where Enos A. Wright was buried.
