Adah E. Yeoman, 76, of 506 Finley E. Finley Avenue, died Wednesday at 8:35 p.m. at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, following an illness of several weeks.

She was born August 17, 1895, the daughter of William H. and Arminta Lentz Whitmer. She was a long-time resident of Mahaska County prior to moving to Ottumwa in 1951. She attended First Pentecostal Assembly of God.

She married Leonard G. Yeoman on July 12, 1916 in Fremont. He survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Viola Rosenbloom, Mrs. Virginia Smith, and Mrs. Rosemary Riley, all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Betty Hubbell of Boston; six grandchildren; and one brother, Elmo Whitmer of Marion. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth, and by two brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Palmer of First Pentecostal Assembly of God officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Township Cemetery, north of Fremont.
