OBIT:
Perry Whitmer, 60-year-old Fremont man, was killed yesterday and two other persons injured in a two-car collision on a Mahaska County road about three miles north of Fremont.
Driver of the other car was identified as 22-year-old Richard Fielder, also of Fremont. He and Whitmer's 57-year-old sister, Mary, driver of the Whitmer car, were hospitalized at Oskaloosa with injuries suffered in the mishap.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmo I. Whitmer, 2000 Ninth Avenue, were visiting their daughter, Miss Carol Whitmer in Washington, D.C. last week, when they were called to Fremont by the death of Mr. Whitmer's brother, Perry Whitmer, 60, in an automobile accident. Mrs. Whitmer's sister, Miss Mary Whitmer, 57, also of Fremont, who was injured in the same accident, died Tuesday morning.
The Whitmer's had been in Washington only one day on their vacation when they were called to Fremont. Mr. Whitmer's brother and sister were both unmarried and were living with Mr. Whitmer's father at Fremont, who is ninety years old.
