He was an active member of Springlake Baptist Church and was Adult Men Sunday School teacher. He served in the US Army during WW II.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Jack Dunn of Paris; 3 daughters, Mrs. Harold 'Bobbie' Kirtley, Mrs. Larry 'Sarah' Hutchings and Mrs. Charles 'Patsy' Rhodes, all of Paris; a brother, Marvin Dunn of Dallas; 3 sisters, Lula Sears of Iowa Park, TX.; Mrs. Harmon 'Lydia' Betterton of Deport and Mrs. C.J. 'Mattie Lou' Aduxs of Midland; 11 grandchildren.'
