Cinderella Ann Cummickel, born November 17, 1841 in Somerset, Maryland, was the second of fifteen children born to Benjarmin Franklin and Elvira (Daugherty) Betsworth.

As a young girl she moved to Bergen, New Jersey with her family and then to Saint Charles, Illinois.

On October 5, 1865, in Kane County, Illinois, Cinderella married Henry Cummickel. Soon after their marriage they moved to Le Mars, Iowa along side her parents and siblings. The Cummickels later moved to Topeka, Kansas where, at age 79, she preceeded Henry in death.

Cinderella was the mother of five children, sons: Charles Warren, Edward Allen and Clarence Prescott, daughters; Della E and Laura May.

Funeral services where held at Penwell chapel in Topeka with burial following at Topeka Cemetery.
