Allen of Charleston SC, Walter W. Allen of Richmond Va and William J Allen of Clifton Forge Va.
He was born in Semora where he was a well-known farmer and lived out his life there rearing a large family. He became well known throughout Caswell County NC. He was a member of Semora Baptist Church and was buried in the family square near the home.
