Wilfred Barringer, 75, Breckenridge died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital at Breckenridge. The funeral will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Breckenridge Lutheran Church, with Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Interment will be in Burau Lutheran Cemetery at Foxhome.
Mr. Barringer was born Oct 26,1900, at Dell Rapids, S.D., the son of George and Elizabeth Barringer. In 1912 he moved with his family to Meadows township near Rothsay, and later to a farm in Akron Township.
He married Louise Max at Breckenridge on Sept. 29, 1925.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Lyle, Rothsay; five grand-children and two great-grandchildren: two brothers and sisters, Cyril and Dighton, both of Breckenridge; Mrs. Harry (Jane) Faulkner, Rothsay, and Mrs. Herman (Dorothy) Martinson, Pelican Rapids.
Visitation starts at 2 p.m. Sunday, continues through the evening, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge. Visitation also one hour prior to service at the church
