Visitation is Friday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 8 and again Saturday until 11 a.m. at Ver-tin's-Wahpeton Funeral Home Chapel. There will also be visitation at the church for the hour prior to services. i
Dighton Barringer was born April 26, I I905at Dell Rapids, S.D., to George and I Elizabeth (Dighton) Barringer. He ! moved with his family to the Rothsay area in 1912 and went to school there. He married Ethel Harvego March 12, 1929 at Breckenridge. The couple farmed in the Rothsay and Breckenridge areas until 1946 when they moved to Breckenridge.
He worked at Wards and was also part owner of Twin City Transfer. He retired in 1967. He moved to the Leach Home in January 1978, shortly after the death of his wife. She died Jan. 10,1978.
He was a member of the Church of God in Wahpeton.
Survivors include a son, Delbert, Pelican Rapids, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Charlie (Lucille) Herman, Bismarck, Mrs. Paul (Marie) Zach, Fairmount, Mrs. Albin J!Marian) Sorum, Breckenridge; J3 grandchildren, one brother, Cyril Breckenridge; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Jane) Faulkner, Rothsay, and Mrs. Herman (Dorothy) Martinson, Pelican Rapids. „ He was preceded in death by his wife, „' parents, a brother and a sister.
