Edna Bernice Fann of Hopewell, Mo., passed away June 5, 1990, in Washington County Hospital, Potosi, at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 29 days. She was born March 7, 1913, in Ironton, Mo., to the late John J. and Isabelle (Marler) Wilkinson.
Edna knew the Lord as her Savior and was a long time member of the Hopewell Church of God.
She was united in marriage to Nolan Edward Fann on April 1, 1929, in Potosi, and 6 children were born to this union. Mr. Fann preceded his wife in death as did three brothers; Raney, Luther and Guy Wilkinson; two sisters, Anna Belle Wilkinson and Alberta "Birdie" Benson; one son-in-law, Ferman Lee Breakfield.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are one son, Robert J. Fann Sr. and wife Arlene of Hopewell; five daughters, Violet and husband Philip Wade of Hopewell, Eileen and husband Robert Wade of Belgrade, Elvira and husband Donald Hinkle of Hopewell, Nola Gale Breakfield of Hopewell; two brothers, Adolph and wife Dorothy Wilkinson of Potosi and Kenneth and wife Ruth of Potosi.
18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 9, at Hopewell Church of God with Rev. Joe Gensler officiating. Interment was in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of the Britton Bros. Funeral Home of Potosi.
Serving as pallbearers were; Mark Wade, Rick Wade, Jim Wade, Gary Hinkle, David Hinkle, David Gross and Jeff Lawson.
